About Gold Roses
Are the Roses really
real?
The process of plating
the roses in gold is called electroform. The 40 step process is a “trade
secret.” Here is a brief overview of the process.
- The roses are fresh cut and the
carefully selected.
- The leaves and petals of each rose
are artistically arranged in to position
- Then in a lengthy process the roses
are delicately preserved in several layers of clear coating to preserve its
shape and form.
- The plating process then begins
with a coating of nickel, copper, and finally a coating of 24 Karat Gold.
Will the rose fall apart
after a few days?
No. There are two layers of
metals applied to the rose before the gold is applied. These layers help make
the rose very sturdy. They are really only as fragile as fine china and crystal
and should be treated as well. We do offer a 30-day guarantee if the rose should
for some reason arrive broken or damaged. However, this is rare occurrence.
Are the Roses
boxed?
Every Rose is
beautifully boxed and delivered right to your door.
